The mountain in the center of this photo is Mt. Wilson, not the Mt. Wilson with the Observatory. Mt. Wilson, as in the tallest mountain in Red Rock Canyon, near Las Vegas, Nevada. On December 18, 2008 I was the first person up here at 4:30 AM. As the day broke I was joined by many other avid photographers. I had a blast with the photo panel, a panoramic made up of eight images. I did not use any fancy equipment, just my digital camera and a steady hand. The image is about 12 inches by 71 inches if I were to print it up. Enjoy!
