Whitemargin sandmat Card:099A
Whitemargin sandmat (Chamaesyce albomarginata) is just a fancy name for spurge. Some of us have spent time pulling common relatives of this plant out of the ground as weeds. This one is a native in dry landscapes. Each flower is about the size of the “o” in PictoGraphica above. Like most members of the Euphorbia family, when you break the skin of the plant a white latex exudes from the wound. Spurge or not; this pretty little plant has most of the winter holiday colors.
